Large amounts of Australian and New Zealand seed is exported, and many importing countries require seed to be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate.
Provision of Phytosanitary Information
AsureQuality examines samples of such seed lots for certain unwanted pests and diseases. The results are added to the pool of information which is used by the Australian and New Zealand official phytosanitary certificate issuing authority to verify that the required phytosanitary standards have been met.
AsureQuality has a fully equipped and serviced seed pathology laboratory which is used to determine the occurence of seed-borne pathogens of a wide range of crop, pasture and tree species.
